He graduated from IIT Kharagpur (Civil Engineering, B.Tech). During his graduation, he won bronze in Hindi elocution.
Career
Jitender Kumar played several stage shows in IIT as the Governor of the Hindi Technology Dramatics Society. Here he met Biswapati Sarkar, the executive creative director and a Writer at TVF, who invited him to join The Viral Fever in 2012.
After joining TVF, Jitendra starred in Munna Jazbaati which instantly went viral and crossed millions of views on its platform. He then was seen in many other TVF originals including Tech Conversations With Dad, A Day With, Bachelors, Kota Factory and more.
He got most famous because of his role of Jeetu Bhaiya in Kota Factory. After this, he made his film debut with Shuruaat Ka Interval in 2014. Then in 2020, he appeared as the lead role in Panchayat series on Prime Video, produced by TVF. This role also gained immense popularity and was praised by everyone alike. Panchayat is currently airing on Prime Video again.
Starring in more bollywood films, he has worked in Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhan with Ayushmann Khurrana and Chaman Bahaar in 2020. His most recent series include Kota factory Season 3 which is currently airing on Netflix.
