In November 2019, Vikrant Massey got engaged to his long-time girlfriend Sheetal Thakur in a private roka ceremony. Vikrant Massey Education, Qualification
Vikrant Massey completed his school education at St. Anthony’s High School in Versova. After that, he went to R. D. National College of Arts & Science in Bandra, Mumbai.
Career
Vikrant developed an interest in acting and dancing at a very young age. Being a well-trained dancer, he forayed onto the stage with small-time dancing and theatre performances at the age of 7. Vikrant used to do small skits and plays in his school days. His teachers and school principal supported his acting career.
When Vikrant was in the first year of his college, he got trained in ballet dancing under Shiamak Davar and worked as a choreographer in his show Dhoom Machaao Dhoom.
After portraying some choreographer roles, Vikrant started appearing in TV shows and played lead roles in Balika Vadhu and Baba Aiso Var Dhundo. Before his film debut, he did some more TV shows including Qubool Hai, V The Serial, and Ye Hai Aashiqui.
Vikrant made his film debut with Lootera in 2013, alongside Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh. He then performed another supporting role in Dil Dhadakne Do in 2015, which was a major hit at the box office. Vikrant played his lead role in 2017 with the film A Death in the Gunj. He even received his first nomination for his impressive performance in the film for the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor. In 2018-19, Vikrant got engaged with some web series including Mirzapur, Broken But Beautiful, Made in Heaven, etc. His performances were again praised by audiences.
In 2020, Vikrant played the lead role in Chappak alongside Deepika Padukone, and in a sci-fi movie Cargo with Shweta Tripathi. He received his second nomination for a Netflix movie with Tapsee Pannu – Haseen Dilruba. Vikrant experienced his breakthrough role with 12th fail in 2023 where he put effort to become an IPS officer beyond poverty. The movie earned him immense love and also his first win for the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor.
