Rakul Preet Career
Rakul Preet Singh said that she had always dreamt of being an actress, began her career in modelling at age 18 while she was still in college. She made her acting debut in the Kannada film, Gilli in 2009. She won four subtitles at the pageant including Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face, Femina Miss Talented, Femina Miss Beautiful Smile and Femina Miss Beautiful Eyes.
Rakul worked in many Tamil and Telugu films, such as Puthagam, Venkatadri Express, Yennamo Yedho, Rough, Loukyam, Current Theega, Pandaga Chesko, Kick 2, Bruce Lee – The Fighter, Nannaku Prematho, Sarrainodu, Dhruva, Winner, Rarandoi Veduka Chudham, Jaya Janaki Nayaka, Spyder, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, etc.
In 2014, her Bollywood debut came with the film “Yaariyan” in which she played the role of ‘Saloni.’ In 2017, Rakul was appointed as the brand ambassador of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao programme by the Telangana Government.
