Parineeti made her acting debut with the Bollywood film Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (2011) and won Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Chopra did schooling from Convent of Jesus and Mary, Ambala. She secured the AIR #1 in SSC exams and was awarded by Prathiba Patil, the then President of India. She said that she was a very good student and had always wanted to become an investment banker.
At the age of 17, Parineeti moved to England, where she received a triple honours degree in business, finance and economics from Manchester Business School. While studying, she worked part-time for the Manchester United Football Club as the team leader of the catering department. Parineeti has also received training in singing and has done B.A. Honours in Music.

In 2009, she returned to India due to economic recession in England and moved to Mumbai to stay with Priyanka Chopra. During a visit to Yash Raj Films studio, Priyanka introduced Parineeti to the head of the public relations team of the company. She obtained an internship in the marketing department.
While working on promotions for Band Baaja Baaraat, Chopra realised that she wanted to become an actress and decided to resign from her executive position with Yash Raj Films.
Parineeti made her acting debut with the Bollywood film Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (2011) with Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma. and won Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Parineeti’s second movie was Habib Faisal’s tragic love-story, Ishaqzaade with Arjun Kapoor. Parineeti Chopra won the Special Mention Award at the 60th National Film Awards and also several nominations at all the well-known award functions. After that, she appeared in Maneesh Sharma’s movie Shuddh Desi Romance with Sushant Singh Rajput and Vaani Kapoor.
