Christian’s great-uncle Bill Slater was a well-known radio personality.

Christian Slater has appeared in numerous theaters, television shows, and films. He made his television debut at the age of 8 with ABC Soap Opera broadcast One Life to Live in 1977. He made his Broadway debut with a run on Ryan’s Hope, going on to appear in several Broadway shows till the early 1980s.

Christian Slater has married twice. He married Ryan Haddon, the daughter of model Dayle Haddon in 2000. They already had a son Jadon Christopher who was born in 1999. After their marriage, they had a daughter Eliana Sophia born in 2001. Ryan was charged with some domestic legal issues against Christian in 2003. Eventually, they got separated in 2005 and divorced in 2007.
